Frequently Asked Questions

Everything international guests usually ask us before their first visit to HEROS TOKYO. If your question is not here, just send us a message in English.

Language & Communication

Q. Do you speak English?

In writing, yes. By phone or voice call, no.

Our staff handle everything in English in writing: questions, prices, directions and any special request, by LINE, WhatsApp or email. Bookings themselves are made on the LINE booking form.

We cannot help you in English by telephone or on a voice call. Our phone line is answered in Japanese only, and we do not take bookings by phone in any language. Please write to us instead.

Most of our boys speak little or no English. On the day, you and the boy will communicate using a translation app on a phone. This works well in practice and our regular international guests use it without trouble.

Because of this, we settle everything that matters before the day: the course, the time, where to meet, the total price and what you are looking for. Nothing important is left to be explained on the spot.

Q. Which languages can I contact you in?

English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese, in writing only. For questions, use LINE, WhatsApp or the contact form. To book, use the LINE booking form.

Our phone line is answered in Japanese only. There is no English support by phone or voice call, and we do not take bookings by phone in any language.

Q. Can I request a boy who speaks English?

A small number of our boys have some conversational English. Please tell us when you book and we will let you know who is available on your date. We cannot promise it, so we suggest planning on the translation app either way.

Please also note that a boy cannot take a call in English for you, and neither can our office. Anything you need to ask on the day should come to us in writing.

Before You Book

Q. Is it all right if this is my first time?

Yes. Many of our guests are first-timers, including visitors who have never used a service like this anywhere. Our staff will walk you through it step by step.

Q. How do I book?

All bookings go through the booking form on our LINE official account. This is the only way to book.

Add HEROS TOKYO on LINE, then open the booking form from the menu and fill it in. LINE is a free messaging app and takes a minute to install if you do not have it.

You are welcome to ask questions first by email at info@heros-tokyo.jp, but the booking itself has to come through the LINE form.

We do not take bookings by phone, and our phone line has no English support.

Q. How does a booking get confirmed?

You send the LINE booking form, we check the boy’s availability, we send you the details to confirm, and the booking is fixed once you reply. See How to Book for the full flow.

Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we come back to you.

Q. Can I book for the same day?

You are welcome to ask. Whether we can take it depends on the boy’s schedule, so earlier is better, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Q. How far in advance can I book?

Up to one month ahead. If you are planning a trip, booking before you fly is the safest way to get the boy you want.

Q. The boy I want is marked as off that day. Can I still ask?

Yes. A day shown as off can sometimes still be arranged. Tell us the date you need and we will ask him.

Q. Do I have to give my real name?

No. A nickname is fine. We never ask for identification, and your details are never passed to the boy.

Q. Can I change the date or the boy after booking?

Once a booking is confirmed we cannot change the boy. For a change of date or time, please tell us as early as you can and we will do what we can.

Q. Who cannot use the service?

Anyone under 18, high school students, and women regardless of age.

Q. How do I cancel a booking?

Please tell us on the same LINE account you used to book, or write to info@heros-tokyo.jp. See the cancellation policy below for when a fee applies. Our phone line is answered in Japanese only.

Q. What if I am running late on the day?

The confirmation we send you includes a meeting contact link. Write it in the "Additional notes" field there and it goes straight to your boy. Please tell us as soon as you know.

Q. Can I book two boys at the same time?

Yes. The course price applies per boy, and the travel fee is charged for each boy. Please tell us when you book.

Q. Can I book the same boy on several days, or for a long booking?

Yes, subject to his schedule. Please ask as early as you can.

Prices & Payment

Q. How much does it cost?

From ¥13,000 for 60 minutes, ¥17,000 for 90 minutes, ¥20,000 for 120 minutes, and from ¥30,000 for an overnight course. A private room fee or a travel fee is added on top. Full details are on the pricing page.

Q. What is added to the course price?

If you use our private room: ¥1,000 in Shinjuku for an hourly course, ¥3,000 for an overnight course, ¥2,000 in Ikebukuro.

If the boy comes to you: a travel fee (see below).

We always tell you the total before you confirm, so there is nothing to work out yourself.

Q. How much is the travel fee?

¥1,000 when the journey is within one hour each way. Beyond that, the actual fare. If the address is more than a 10-minute walk from a station, taxi fare is added. For destinations over one hour each way, ¥1,500 per hour is added for the round trip.

Most hotels in central Tokyo fall inside the ¥1,000 band.

Q. How do I pay?

Cash on the day, in Japanese yen.

Card payment is currently unavailable due to a change in our payment provider. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

ATMs that accept foreign cards are in every convenience store in Tokyo, so withdrawing on the day is easy.

Q. When do I pay?

Please settle when you enter the room, before the session starts.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?

Not at the moment. Card payment is currently unavailable due to a change in our payment provider.

We will say so here once it is back. Everything, including extensions, is cash on the day.

Q. Can I extend on the day?

Yes, just tell the boy. ¥4,000 per 30 minutes or ¥8,000 per 60 minutes on an hourly course, and ¥6,000 per 60 minutes on an overnight course. Payable in cash at the time.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

Free until two days before. 50% the day before. 100% on the day, and 100% for a no-show.

If your flight or plans change, tell us as soon as you know.

Q. Are there any discounts?

We run campaign coupon codes from time to time. Our mailing-list discount requires a Japanese mobile number (080 / 090 / 070), so it is usually not available to visitors from overseas. Ask us on LINE and we will tell you what is running.

Q. If you cancel my booking, do you cover my hotel or travel costs?

We are very sorry, but we do not reimburse hotel costs, travel costs or any other expenses. You pay nothing at all in that case: no course price and no cancellation fee.

Depending on the situation, we may offer you a discount on your next booking.

Q. Can I pay with PayPay or another e-money service?

Not at the moment. We accept cash only. Credit card payment is also unavailable for the time being, following a change in the card companies terms. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Q. Is there a nomination fee?

There is no nomination fee. There is a travel fee, from 1,000 yen, and it applies both in our private rooms and when the boy comes to you. Your total is the course price plus the travel fee, plus the room fee if you use a private room.

Q. If the boy comes to my hotel, who pays for the room?

You book and pay for the hotel yourself. What you pay us is the course price and the travel fee (from 1,000 yen).

Q. Should I tip or bring a present?

No tip or present is expected, and there is nothing to pay beyond the price.

If you do give something, it belongs to the boy himself. The shop is not involved.

Meeting & Location

Q. Where do we meet?

At the meeting point we agree in advance. Please contact us when you arrive, and we will do the same if the boy gets there first.

If you have booked a hotel visit, the boy comes straight to your room. Where the lift needs a room key, please come down and meet him at the entrance.

Q. Can the boy come to my hotel?

Yes. He will come to the entrance or the lobby of the hotel you are staying at. See Hotel Companions in Tokyo for how this works, and our hotel list for places that are comfortable with male guests.

Q. Is there anything my room needs?

The room must have a bath or a shower. Everyone showers before the session, so we cannot visit a room without one.

Q. Do I need to prepare anything?

For a visit to you, please have towels ready. Boys travel from one appointment to the next and cannot always carry them. If that is difficult at your hotel, tell us in advance.

Q. Where are your private rooms?

Our Shinjuku room is in Shinjuku 2-chome and our Ikebukuro room is near Ikebukuro Station. For Shinjuku, we meet in front of an apartment building near the station and walk to the room. The exact meeting point is sent with your booking confirmation.

Please do not go to the room directly, as another guest may be using it. Wait at the meeting point.

Q. Which areas do you cover?

All of central Tokyo as standard. Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba and Omiya are possible with a distance fee. Anywhere further, please ask.

Q. Private room or a visit to me?

For 60 to 120 minutes, the private room is simple and cheap. If you are staying at a hotel, having the boy come to you is usually more comfortable. Overnight courses are visits only.

Q. When does my time start?

From the moment you meet the boy. Time spent travelling together counts as part of the course.

Q. What if the boy is late?

We work hard to avoid it, but arrival can shift by 15 to 30 minutes because of traffic and trains. Thank you for your understanding.

Q. Do your private rooms have a shower and amenities?

Yes. Shower, towels and lotion are provided, so you can come empty-handed. Our private rooms are strictly non-smoking.

Q. Can I leave my luggage or suitcase there?

You may bring your luggage into the private room, but we cannot look after it for you. Please keep your valuables with you.

Boys, Courses & What Happens

Q. Do I choose the boy myself?

Yes, always. Please pick from the boys gallery. If you are not sure, tell us what you like and our staff will suggest someone.

Q. Can I say whether I am top or bottom?

Yes. Tell us “top”, “bottom”, “versatile” or “no preference” when you book. Some profiles mark what a boy does and does not do, and where a profile shows a cross we cannot arrange it.

Q. Is what happens decided in advance?

There is no script. You and the boy agree as you go. Telling us your wishes beforehand makes it easier, especially when you do not share a language.

Q. What is the massage course?

The boy gives an aroma massage fully nude. You do not touch the boy during it, and it finishes with hand relief. It cannot be combined with the date course.

Q. What is the date course?

Dinner, drinks or going out together. There is no play on a date course, and we cannot use a private space (karaoke rooms and private dining rooms are the exceptions). To combine both, book a date course together with an hourly or overnight course.

Q. Anything to know about the overnight course?

Please let the boy sleep at least five hours. You get a proper night’s rest too, so it does not spoil your next day.

Q. Can I make a special request?

It depends on the boy. Cosplay, role play and similar requests are worth asking about in advance. Anything illegal or dangerous we cannot do.

Q. Are condoms used?

For anal play a condom is required. We ask for your cooperation for hygiene reasons. Condoms and lotion are provided free of charge (if you use a large amount, please bring your own).

If a condom is removed without agreement, or if you do not agree to use one, the booking is stopped at that point and we will ask you to leave. No refund is given in that case.

Anal play is available only with boys who offer it.

Rules, Privacy & Safety

Q. Can I take photos or video?

No photographs or video of the boy at all, including any part of his body. If your room has a fixed camera, please cover it. If that is not possible, please use our private room or a hotel instead.

Q. Can I exchange contact details with the boy?

No. This includes handing over a note or a card, and asking for his details.

Q. Is my privacy protected?

Yes. Your information is never given to a third party, and never to the boy. All staff and boys are bound to confidentiality.

Q. What about my valuables?

In our private rooms, please use the safe provided. We cannot take responsibility for anything left outside it.

Q. What is not allowed?

Photographing the boy, exchanging contact details, prying into his private life, violence, and anything unhygienic. A breach ends the session and may end your ability to book with us, and a penalty may apply. Please read our terms.

Q. Are the boys tested for STIs?

Every boy takes an STI test and a health check as part of our hiring process, and only those who pass go on to debut. Hygiene is one of our selection criteria.

Q. Can we go for a drink together?
